Day
Light Control (DLC) system allows the user to control
the lighting based on the available natural ambient
light. By adding the optional time clock, the DLC system
turns On/Off lighting circuits to maintain light levels
for specific times of day on specific days of the week.
The Day Light Control system is calibrated at the control
panel using a digital Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) read-out
for both input and output configurations. Photo-sensor
levels can be read directly at the control panel. The
system has the unique ability to scale the photo cell
output to exact foot candle readings. The operator simply
adjusts the On/Off points by setting the foot candle
level for ON and the foot candle level for OFF. Also,
there is a built-in deadband level to prevent cycling.
Remote
switch overrides (adjustable for 1 to 120 minutes) can
be activated at any time to bypass the photo sensor
and turn the circuit ON. The lights will automatically
turn OFF at the end of the override cycle.
The
optional Time Clock can be integrated into any or all
circuits. The Time Clock works in conjunction with the
photo diode for "Time Clock-ON / Photo Diode-OFF"
or "Photo Diode-ON ./ Time Clock-OFF" operation.
Special
application and system configurations are available
upon request. Contact the system applications specialists
at Day Light Controls for details.
